According to his MySpace blog, Clint Mansell backed by the Sonus Quartet will perform music from Pi, Requiem For A Dream, The Fountain and The Wrestler at London’s Union Chapel on July 20th, 2009. Tickets are already on sale.
Darren Aronofsky Will Not Direct The Fighter
As expected, Darren Aronofsky is no longer attached to The Fighter. Aronofsky’s next picture should be the “reimagining” of RoboCop, so it makes sense that another director, David O. Russell (Three Kings, I Heart Huckabees), will helm the production instead. However, as reported months ago, Christian Bale is still on to play Dicky Eklund to Mark Wahlberg’s Micky Ward....
