As dmbiii questioned on Instagram, “will the ark be built [here]”? Darren’s “hmmm” caption certainly has us thinking just that. Of course, he could just be teasing us all, which is certainly believable.

Paramount Interested in Aronofsky's George Washington Film -
Paramount Pictures is in negotiations to acquire “The General,” a George Washington pic with Darren Aronofsky attached to produce and direct from a script by Adam Cooper and Bill Collage.
…
Plot details are being kept under wraps, but sources tell Variety that the script is more of an “Unforgiven”-like tale rather than a straight historical drama. Paramount had no comment on the negotiations.
Could this be something like Abraham Lincoln: Vampire Hunter? A tongue-in-cheek Aronofsky film would be interesting. I suspect with a title like The General, it’s probably not going to be, though. It seems Aronofsky likes “The” titles (The Fountain, The Wrestler and was allegedly once attached to The Fighter).
Update: Looks like the man himself weighed in on Twitter. Aronofsky calls the script a “a raw portrait of the man becoming an American” and is “not sure where the Unforgiven comparison comes from.”
A nondescript photo from Darren Aronofsky’s Instagram account with the caption “pre-production begins”. It’s safe to say we’re talking Noah.
