According to io9, an MGM spokesman recently confirmed Darren Aronofsky and David Self are still working on a script for RoboCop. However, the movie is now on track for a 2011 release. Aronofsky previously hinted on the Howard Stern Show that he may only be writing a script and no longer attached to direct.
